KoT Recorderツール is a useful Chrome extension that allows users of the "My Recorder" feature in "KING of TIME" to conveniently manage their clock-ins and clock-outs online. The purpose of this extension is to prevent various issues and reduce the burden on attendance managers.
With this Chrome extension, users can prevent the following:
- Double clock-ins and clock-outs
- Forgetting to clock in or out
- Clocking out before clocking in
- Mistaken clock-ins and clock-outs on public holidays
By toggling the ON/OFF switch of the extension, users can also go back to using the regular functionality without the extension.
1. Prevention of Double Clock-ins and Clock-outs
Once a user clocks in for the day, they won't be able to clock in again. Similarly, if a user clocks out for the day, they won't be able to clock out again.
2. Prevention of Forgetting to Clock in or Out
Users can set conditions for automatic clock-ins or display confirmation dialogs for both clock-ins and clock-outs.
3. Prevention of Clocking Out Before Clocking In
If a user hasn't clocked in for the day, they won't be able to clock out.
4. Prevention of Mistaken Clock-ins and Clock-outs on Public Holidays
Users can set options to prohibit clock-ins and clock-outs on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, or display confirmation dialogs when attempting to do so.
Please note that this extension only determines clock-ins and clock-outs based on the button's pressed state. It does not handle errors or issues that may occur on the server-side of "My Recorder." In such cases, please turn off the extension and use the regular clock-in functionality.
